1. Plan and find out how the WG can exploit its liaisons with international standardization bodies like the Unicode Consortium, ISO and OGC to accomplish the task
2. Possibly in cooperation with the liaisons, compile a structured and annotated list on standards with relevance to GN data exchange, dissemination and integration and provide links to relevant sources on their GN data related properties
3. Invite countries, organizations and UNGEGN members to provide thoughts, examples as well as data providers’ and users’ experiences on the application of the standards

Results of the Meeting of the Task Team on 17-11-2021:

• Create a "guide" to assist countries/institutions to standardize geographical names
• "Guide" can be drafted within the wiki and then shiftedf to the UNGEGN website
• "Guide" will include aspects on standards for the creation of a data model, the data processing as well as the data dissemination / publication (e.g. web services)
