Die Europäische Kommission hat am das Release 2022.1 der INSPIRE Technical Guidance Documents veröffentlicht.

Das Release umfasst sowohl größere ("breaking") als auch kleinere ("non-breaking") Änderungen zum Technical Guidance Dokument für Metadaten. Die neue Version v2.1.0 des Technical Guidance for the implementation of INSPIRE dataset and service metadata based on ISO/TS 19139:2007 ist im AsciiDoc-Format auf GitHub veröffentlicht.

Die Änderungen wurden im Rahmen des Governance-of-INSPIRE-Artefacts-Prozesses innerhalb der Arbeitsgruppe "Governance of INSPIRE Artefacts", der MIG-T und der MIG abgestimmt, siehe auch Governance of INSPIRE artefacts - neuer Workflow zur Pflege der INSPIRE Artefakte. 

Die INSPIRE Technical Guidance Documents werden zweimal jährlich aktualisiert, das nächste Release ist am geplant.
